Cairo and a Nile cruise: pyramids and the temples of Luxor, Edfu and Aswan.

Egypt · The Grandeur of the Pharaohs

The journey’s concept

The Giza pyramids, ancient Thebes and a Nile cruise introduce Egypt as history unfolds from the capital to the southern temples. Between excursions, watch the river from the deck: palm-lined banks, small settlements and changing light over the water. This eight-day foundation suits a first extensive cultural journey through the country.

THREE REASONS TO CHOOSE THIS ROUTE

What makes this journey special

01

Giza and the museum collection

The pyramids and Sphinx convey scale, while a museum day connects architecture with ancient Egyptian art and everyday life.

02

The Nile as part of the experience

The cruise links Luxor, Edfu, Kom Ombo and Aswan. Travel becomes time to rest and observe river life.

03

Luxor's two banks

Karnak and Luxor Temple are complemented by the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut's temple. The guide explains the relationship between the temple city and its necropolises.
