Two capitals through architecture, art and everyday life. Eight days with cultural guiding, an intercity train journey and a programme shaped around your group.
8 days / 7 nights · private group · dates on request
Moscow — intercity train — St Petersburg — a selected palace estate
Moscow reveals Russia through squares, side streets, the metro and the movement of a large city. St Petersburg responds with long perspectives, water and museum collections. Together they tell a story of changing ideas about government, beauty and everyday life.
Familiar landmarks gain context. With a guide, read architecture, choose museum themes and notice the details of urban life. The group’s own interests can lead towards art, crafts or contemporary culture. The train between the capitals is part of the experience; visits and special encounters are arranged in advance.
This is an itinerary concept on request, not a confirmed departure. Hotels, guides, transport, visits, price and the final service list are confirmed for each group.
Red Square, historic neighbourhoods and the metro are connected through stories of city life. The route follows a theme chosen with the group.
Museum days focus on selected themes and works. Potential visits to the Hermitage and other museums depend on tickets and opening arrangements.
Three nights in Moscow and four in St Petersburg allow time for everyday observations, food interests and a session with your own host.
Moscow: the scale of a capital
For a first visit to Russia, cultural communities, private groups and partners seeking a clear introductory itinerary. Suits travellers interested in art, architecture and history; museum time and walking are tailored to the group.
Explore the key places along the journey. Browse the photographs; the detailed day-by-day itinerary follows below.

Squares and Saint Basil’s silhouette introduce the making of a capital. Look beyond the familiar view to the city’s stories and details.

Mayakovskaya reveals the metro as part of the city’s artistic identity. Stations and visiting times are selected around transport operations.

The palace façade sets the scale of imperial St Petersburg. For the museum visit, select a coherent theme and available rooms rather than attempting everything.

Embankments, bridges and long perspectives reveal the city’s plan. Any boat journey is considered separately according to season and weather.

Peterhof is one option for the palace-estate day. Fountains operate seasonally; the estate and tickets are confirmed in advance, without promising two palaces in one day.
Photographs illustrate places, not a guaranteed season, weather or specific service.
